The planets as symbolised in your birth chart (known as ‘natal planets’) remain
fixed throughout your life, but the planets still continue to orbit the zodiac. Each planet has its own characteristic cycle. For example, Jupiter takes twelve years to complete one full cycle, Saturn takes 28 to 30 years. Each planet during its orbit passes through the different areas (known as ’houses’) of your birth chart, and makes angles (known as ‘aspects’) to your birth chart.
As a result of each planets orbit we are able to list the various points in the cycle (known as ‘transits’ in your report. They indicate experiences that are related to the nature of the orbiting planet, the house it is passing through and the ‘natal planet’ it aspects.
The technique of transits therefore allows the timing of specific experiences, from times of opportunity to major life crises. This brings an understanding of why you have experienced certain things in the past, the reasons for your present experiences, and what you may experience in the future. ’Transits’ cannot predict precise events but only the type of experience you will have at a certain time.
This report shows how the movement of the planets can affect your birth chart for periods of up to two to three months at a time, and due to astrological cycles, will occasionally recur during the year.
When reading reports you should read through the information carefully, and then integrate that information to create a whole picture for the period the ‘Transits’ are in effect.
